Torino R net is a users group dedicated to bringing together area practitioners of the popular open source R statistics language to exchange knowledge, learn and share tricks and techniques, provide R beginners with an opportunity to meet more experienced users. Our aims is to spur the adoption of R for innovative research and commercial applications, see case studies of real-life R applications in industry and government.
We will host meetings every quarter, a typical meeting will consist of 3-4 talks of about 20-25 min to give plenty of room for sharing your experiences, discussions and exchange of ideas. Italian and English presentations are welcome.
R is an open source programming language and environment for statistical computing, data analysis, and graphical visualization. R has over one million users worldwide, and its user base is growing fast also in commercial areas such as quantitative finance and business intelligence.
